Happy day everyone!
Last Saturday, I have received my first payout from my
home-based job and eventually, since it was also holiday in the Philippines
since it’s the 30th of November, it’s Bonifacio Day, my husband is
off work and the kids are at home… it’s the perfect time to bond together!
We have tried this newly opened Eat-All-You-Can Restaurant
just near where I live. I mean really near! It is just 200 meters away from
home.
The place is called Café Floriana. Its mother branch is that
of same Eat-All-You-Can restaurant located at the second floor of Marikina
Hotel, however, the name is quite different. The mother branch is called Café
Flora. This branch in San Mateo is what they called the daughter! LOL
Whatever it is, well, that’s not for me to know further, I’m
not part of their staff though! (Giggle!) The business started last Tuesday, 26th
of November, but they had it blessed first on Monday and as far as I heard, the
blessing ceremony was a success. Well, it will be a success since they offered
free food on that day! Yes, free food, and unfortunately I was in the middle of
my dream world when it happened. LOL
Kidding aside, when you look at Café Floriana outside, the
place seems too bold. It’s truly an eye-catcher, especially the large signage/tarpaulin
at the parking space. Now, let see the inside of the restaurant. The
restaurant is nice. Tables and chairs are well-arrange, that of the usual restaurant should be. Though it
would be nicer if they have some couches for more comfort. Now, I’m sure what you guys will be asking next… the
price? You wouldn’t believe it, dear readers, though the restaurant have this
pleasant atmosphere, their price is very affordable for an Eat-You-Can buffet
restaurant. How much? Php 150.00 per person (or about $3.50). Very affordable,
isn’t it?
But don’t get me wrong, since it is a restaurant and the
waiters/waitresses are really accommodating, the 10% service fee charge is
worth paying for. Wondering if you can bring the kids with you? You absolutely
can bring them along for Café Floriana give discount rates, too. For kids 3
feet and below, it’s absolutely free. For children 3 feet to 3.6 feet, pay only
Php120.00. For senior citizens, dine at Php 115.00 only. These discounted rates
are not subjected to the 10% service fee charge. Now, that’s cool.
The food is okay. Well, as we always say, the taste will
depend on the person eating the food. But if you’ll ask me, I would say the
food just taste right. They have choices laid on the table, but of course, it
is a buffet! They have vegetables, pork, chicken and beef dishes to choose
from. Soup, desserts and fruits are also on the table, just choose whatever you
like. Well, just make sure you have no leftovers on your plate, or else, you
have to pay twice! (Well, for usual food diners for these kinds of restaurants,
this is already usual to see!)
Café Floriana is the first ever eat-all-you-can buffet restaurant in the establishment history of the town of San Mateo in Rizal. The staffs and food servers will greet you with a warm welcome and accommodating each customers with a smile.
